First of all, I really thank you for taking your precious time to visit this page. Ever since five years old Fisayo was diagnosed with cancer, life has taken a down-turn for his entire household, AY, as he is fondly called was hit by the disease shortly after his birthday. His right cheek was slightly swollen, on close observation, his mother discovered a pimple like rash around His chin. Before long, the rash became a lump then a tumour that began to grow out of proportion and little Ayo knew truly what pain is. For three years, he was in and out of hospital in pains and agony. His parents ran from pillar to post, several hospital visits began including series of medical examinations, with no definite outcomes. And now, they have exhausted their life savings yet no change. Ayo would have had a better outcome but he could not due to lack of supportive treatment. Presently, His mother who works in one of the popular fast food chains, is struggling to care for him, His father has abandoned him to his fate. Doctor A.R Adedayo in Lagos State Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) says he is plagued by Fibrosarcome which is called (cancer of the right jaw) he has been transferred from the oral Maxillofacial department to the paediatric oncology department (child cancer) ward. Before long, Ayo was a very active and brilliant in school, his performance makes him to be given a double promotion. But ever since this ailment began he was not able to go school. However, childhood cancer is now commonplace in developing countries like Nigeria and kills faster due to absence of supportive treatment. At this junction, doctor S.A Enetuye of Lagos State Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) says Ayo needs $3,225.00 for the surgery for him to get back on his feet. Please no amount is too small because your drop of water can make his mighty ocean. From the bottom of my heart am saying a big' THANK YOU' as you make this little boy live his dream.
