Mario has been fighting a very aggressive type of leukemia for a year and despite the bone marrow transplantation and other experimental therapies, the battle has not yet been won. His last chance is to undergo gene therapy in Canada that has been quite successful in cases like his is that unfortunately it is not yet present in Italy and in Europe. The BC Children's Hospital, which evaluated the case of Mario, is already ready to welcome us and requests our presence there as soon as possible to allow him to start the therapy. This therapy, of course, has a very high cost and we can not support all medical and travel expenses with our only possibilities. We ask you, therefore, not to leave us alone and to continue this journey all together, hand in hand, to allow Mario to continue living.
