Help us maintain the next generation of gardening: This is little Alan. He is two years old. He loves gardening, but as we are renting a flat, we do not have access to a garden. It breaks our hearts when we walk past so many unused gardens, he tries to climb the fence to get his little fingers into the rich soil and water the growing plants with so much love and care. But it's not our garden - we have to drag him away.
We are considering several options, from renting some garden space to buying a piece of land to create a veggie garden and let little Alan take care of his beloved plants! This is the best moment to enable our son to know the joy of gardening is of the utmost importance. In achieving this, we can ensure that he will grow up with not just an awareness where his food comes from, but a sense of responsibility. Instilling the origins of our food into his mind will remind him always that he is what he eats and that if we are to prosper, Nature must be allowed to prosper first. Be part of Alan's green journey which reminds us that we are all part of a precious, beautiful cycle which must be nourished and cared for.
Help little Alan to live his dream and become the passionate gardener he already is at heart!
