Kakuma Refugee Camp is located in North West of Turkana in Kenya. It is one of the largest Refugee camps in the world hosting over 300,000 refugees and Asylum Seekers.

The camp is extremely Transphobic and Homophobic to all LGBTQIA+ Refugees. Many Queer Refugees are nursing wounds and trauma as a result of the constant attacks. We have so far lost 3 Queer lives due to Homophobia in a period of one year! Sad. Hundreds of our shelters have been burnt down, we are lacking medication, and Food. In most Refugee Clinics, LGBTQIA refugees are discriminated and we therefore prefer seeking medication from Private Clinics.

We are further calling upon everyone to please ADVOCATE for our Protection such that we get Durable solutions as Lgbti refugees.

In most Refugees Clinics, LGBTQIA refugees are mistreated and this lives their lives in fear, on top of continued Homophobia and Transphobia.

Kindly DONATE and Share our Fundraiser so that we can buy Food, Pads for Lesbians, Medication and erecting of Shelters. Your Donation will surely make a difference in our lives.

For those in areas where the GoGetFunding is restricted, kindly use PayPal : [email protected]

Thank you!
