"I can’t stand it any longer, seriously thinking about ending my life, my life has become miserable, I think about suicide every day 100 times”

This was the last message from our friend "Sarah" before she committed suicide.

Sarah Hegazi dared to honestly be herself for a few moments, for many in Arab countries living safely requires living a lie. For those who demand honest existence, the choices are prison, exile or death, Sarah experienced all 3...because she loved honestly in a place that hated her for it.

Sarah is an example of many friends who are now held in the prisons of all Arab countries simply because they are "different", they have been accused unjustly of having outrageous and dangerous to our societies just because they have shown their sexual orientation that is their right in the first place.

Homosexuals, transgender people and all that is different in Arab countries are being fought hard "secretly" because of their different tendencies with the societal and religious traditions of Arab countries.

After the "Sarah" incident, we did a quick study of what homosexuals and transgender people suffer in Arab countries and found the following:

1- 99% of them are expelled from their families ’homes, and their families disassociate themselves after they recognize their sexual orientation.

2 - 100% of them are expelled from work or forced to submit their resignations or they submit their resignations as a result of constant harassment from their colleagues, and they are not accepted in any job.

3 - They are held in prisons by the authorities without a clear position or a clear charge because all legal constitutions in the Arab countries do not contain laws that specify dealing with them or judging them.

And with the absence of control over the authorities in dealing with them by the family and society and the absence of the legal text to deal with them, they are detained, possibly forever, without any trial or explanation of their position, and most of the detainees commit suicide to end their lives.

*Who are we and what will we do?*

We are a group of young, not-for-profit volunteers, who willing to help those affected by the actions mentioned above. (Est. 2011)

With your financial help e will do the following:

- Appointing lawyers for detainees in prisons to release them.

-Financing the dismissed from work as a result of their sexual orientation, in the amount of $ 500 to $ 2,500 per person, to establish his own business.

-Training of those who are unable to establish their own business "due to lack of experience" so that they are ready to run their business and then finance them to establish their own business as mentioned in the paragraph above.

-Psychological treatment for those affected as a result of detention or damage resulting from dealing with society.

We will try hard with your financial help to change the lives of many people for the better. Unfortunately, we can only advertise this campaign here because we simply cannot seek support from the societies in the countries where we live. After all, they refuse to accept homosexuals and transgender people.

We hope that we will reach our goal before October so that we can start taking positive actions before the Christmas period so that the detainees can celebrate with us.
