Help Less Fortunate and COVID Affected Families

We are a group of mountaineers in Cebu, Philippines who aimed to help less fortunate families and individuals who are affected by any calamities, such as fire, landslide, and typhoon victims. We've been doing this for 4 years and we want it to continue yearly or on every time there are people who are in need. We always believe in this verse:

"Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." - Luke 6:38

For the past 4 years, we've been doing this, we are very thankful to those individuals who one way or another extended their hands to help us achieve the goal and help others. We also initiated fundraisings from our own pocket and we are always happy doing that. However, during this pandemic, we were short budget due to loss of jobs and financial deficit. Although the last year 2020, we were still able to do an outreach event where we hold a "Love Drive" - giving a pack of goods and rice - to families that are living in the mountain and remote rural area. We were able to help at least 20 families.

This year, and for more years to come, we wish to continue this and help those who are in need. We also want to extend our help to those street children, the homeless, and in emergency situations. We thought this platform could help us find Good Samaritan individuals who have a kind and big heart to give and donate any amount that will support us on all our group plans. Now, we aim to help those families that were affected by COVID-19 which resulted in losing their jobs and striving hard to support the daily needs of the families.

We hope to find good people here who can share their blessings in any amount. This will help us to help others. Your penny is worth a life and worth saving.
