Help Les finally buy a home in Mexico

I would love to buy even a simple land like this one in Yucatan, Mexico, unfortunately I cannot because I cannot save the money to do so. I have been forced to rent out part of my rental home in order to pay bills and eat, and every time I feel like I am getting ahead I go back to literally zero. As of this day I only have a few pesos left after paying my rent, with no tourists booked as it's low season. I dk what to do.

I have been here in Mexico for approximately 4 years on and off. I came originally because my sweetheart who I met abroad was a Mexican citizen, and she had all family and friends here, so we decided to live together here. She had PKD, which she informed me of on the first date-this a genetic form of kidney disease, so when we finally met up again in Mexico, we spent some time looking for a cure for her in various Mexican states, but, were unsuccessful. We married in January of last year, and were very happy, as always together, until she passed away 3 months later, at only 39 years of age.

So I am basically left alone here, dealing still with a lot of grief, and am lucky enough to have some closer in-laws of the family, and a few close friends, helping me with emotional support. I am paying a reasonable rent, and have an understanding landlord, which keeps me going, and have a very modest income from this rental business I recently started, but I am just unable to save money. I have a small kitten to keep me company, we found each other in the nearby jungle.

Please help. Any amount is very much appreciated, and hopefully all I raise I can put toward the purchase of at least a bare land here. I am here legally, when we were married immigration gave me a 2 year residency but this soon will expire-April of 2018.

I would like to have my own home and stay! I am happy here and find no reason other than money to leave. I can buy a cheap land for as little as 80000 pesos (only $4500 US dollars!) , and build a place cheaply, here the cost for a brick is 6.5 pesos and labour is only 1200 pesos a week, per worker, or, I can buy a ready made house in good condition for approximately 400000-that's only 23000 US dollars.

Immigration wants one to own a home here valued at 2500000 pesos, or roughly 140000 US., then they streamline the process to a 2nd resident temporal. This would be my goal, as when that 2nd 2 year term is complete, I will have been here for 4 years, with legal residency, and can apply to become a permanent resident. This would make me so happy! I am in my 50's, and don't really want to go back to my country to work and start literally from zero. Not at my age.

I am not lazy at all, I just need some help please, to make this correct-for this stage of my life.
