Help Laerskool Simon van der Stel parents

Hi, my name is Liesel. I am raising funds which will go towards school fees, to help parents at my daughter's school. Currently, 68% of our parents can't afford their school fee's during the COVID Lockdown. This fundraiser will help 25 parents with half of their school fees the next two months.

We have a multitude of parents, anxious because they are falling behind with school fees. It is placing stress on them as the outstanding debt of school fees and more would still need paying after the COVID pandemic.

When you can't contribute towards your child's education, you feel sick. The problem is that debt has a way of growing and one can't see past it, leaving you hopeless.

Please help me to lighten the load of 10 families in this time of difficulty. Every drop helps.

Our school opened its doors in 1930 and is situated in the beautiful, green and historical Wynberg. Thousands of children have had the privilege of being schooled at Simon van der Stel Primary. The school has rich traditions and currently we are experiencing a wonderful new growth phase. This year we started our journey into multilingualism with the intake of two new English classes (Grade R and 1).

We are registered with the education department and our CEMIS number is 0105-309340. The school caters for learners between the ages of 5 and 14 years of age. Our school has a well proportioned demographic make-up. We cater for the working parent.

Any funds raised would go directly into the school's bank account.
