Campaign Story
There is nothing we want more than to stay home healthy with our families in the middle of a crisis.
Last May 21, 2020, one of our friend's brothers (Kuya Jerome) experienced a severe inflammation of his feet that prevented him to walk, sit or even just get up from the bed and several episodes of seizures that night.
He was rushed to the hospital and was asked to run several tests to identify the origin of these experiences. The doctor said that this might be caused COVID-19. He experienced seizures again at the hospital that made it difficult for him to breathe which compelled the health workers to put him in respirator.
Days after, test results for COVID-19 came negative. He was diagnosed with Seizure Problem Viral Infection, Acute Coronary Syndrome, and Septic Arthritis. He is currently maintained with medications in the hospital and the respirator was removed. He is expected to undergo MRI as an out-patient.
As of today, the hospital bill is at P220,000 and is expected to rise as days go by. Medications at P11,000 daily are making its way in bringing his body healthy once again. With your help, we can make Kuya Jerome go home the soonest time possible, undergo MRI, and continue his medications at home.
"Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up." Ecclesiastes 4: 9-10
