£2,216.00raised of £3,000.00 goal goal
Kefar Phillip is a 10 year old boy from Coast Guard, Victoria, St Mark, Grenada in the Caribbean. He's my little cousin. He loved football and doing all the things 10 year old's like to do, until he began falling for no apparent reason, having pains in his knee and then a swelling that would not go away. The swelling became so bad that he was admitted to the hospital where it was discovered that he was suffering from Osteogenic Sarcoma or cancer to the knee. He remains in Grenada’s General hospital, however his condition means that his left leg will have to be amputated! Grenada does not have the equipment to complete this procedure and provide the much needed Chemotherapy. If we delay the cancer will spread, certainly threatening his life.
Fortunately family have worked hard and have found a hospital in the USA who are willing to treat him. What we need now are funds for air fares, his visa as well as for that of the family member who will accompany him. All help will be greatly appreciated.
So please, for the price of your morning latte, please make a donation to Kefar :)
All money will go towards his fares, accomodation and ongoing support in terms of treatment and prosthetics!! Thank you thank you!! Please be aware that apart from this page there are ONLY four other accounts accepting donations. One each in the UK, USA, UK and Grenada. If in doubt, please contact me Rachel Charles, Carnisha Philip or Finda (Smilez) Philip for information or verification**
