Help Keep Our Family Together Forever💕

Being a person who is usually lending a helping hand to anyone that i possibly can, it is difficult for me to be writting this so please bare with me as I do the best i can. My husband and i have been together for over 3 years and have an amazingly beautiful, Blended Family. My children have welcomed him with open arms and have welcomed his daughter into our family like they were destined to be together from day one!

We received a phone call 8 months ago that we always knew we would get again, but at the same time prayed, for our childs sake, we wouldnt. For the 4th time, in less than 3yrs, My Step daughters mother was incarcerated for buying, using and having drugs on her when she was pulled over. Knowing exactly what we had to do, we drove 2hrs to the court house the next morning at 8:30am, and filed for and were granted Full custody. We then went papers in hand and brought her HOME at last! 💕 Sounds like a pretty happy ending, Doesn't it? It was untill we got a knock on the door from our local police department who had recieved an "anonymous" call from a "concerned family member" who stated they were worried about the safety of (only) one of our four children. Days later we recieved a letter from an attorney who was retained to fight, on behalf of the grandparents, for Sole Legal and Sole Physical custody of that same little girl that had Finally made our family complete.

To try and make a Long story short, we have spoke to quite a few attorneys and many agengies over the past few days and have been told the same thing by almost every one of them; "you need to get an attorney if you plan on leaving the courtroom with your child in hand". I find it extremely disheartening that Anyone would want to remove an amazing father out of their childs life, let alone to want to remove him only to place her back into the care of and into home that is a revolving door of heroin addicts and constant drug abuse. As mentioned above, we have given the family many chances to get their lives together for the sake of this precious little girl. She has now seen and heard things, at just 6yrs old, that have impacted her mind for the rest of her life and will need continued counciling to be able to rationalize (including but not li.ited to: her mother, uncles and step father using heroin directly in front of her, while being told to "look away". Getting sent to her room, by her grandparents, for telling them that mommy is doing "the bad stuff". and certainly not least, Having her mother overdose in front of her, at 5yrs old, on christmas morning while she was opening her presents.)

We are coming humbly to ask that anyone who is able to to please donate $1, $5, $10 or ANY Amount that would help us get as close to our retainer fee as possible. The cheapest the we have found is $3500. Our hearing was filed as an 'Emergency Relief Hearing' which means it is alot sooner than we would ever be able to get an attorney on our own. So again, if you can find it in your heart to help us, we would be Forever greatful to you for, Helping Keep Our Family Together, Forever 💕
