After working in Malawi Chikwawa in 2014 working with woman and children with HIV and AIDs. I met so many beautiful people and made many friends. It is a magical place. I have continued to talk to people out there. One man in particular Shadrick a tailor I made good friends with. I have sent him money to finish building his house and now have set up with him an irrigation farm.
So two years ago nearly now I fundraised money to set up an irrigation farm in Africa. Thankyou to all of you who donated it was a massive success and the farm produced enough food to feed over 150 families. It would've reached more but unfortunately they where attacked by a big pest infestation. Due to lack of money they weren't able to buy the correct pesticides. So this is to raise funding for that but also to keep the farm going and growing. We are currently looking for other ways to support the farm and keep it sustainable. However at the moment as this is a charity farm and the crops are given away to support families who cant afford food you are the only funding keeping it going. We have found an organization that gives civic education and fundraising to businesses. The entrance fee to join is £40 so this is also part of the fundraising. Hopefully we will find support from bigger charities or the local government but for now if you could donate a little at this seasonal time of giving you would be making a lot of African families happy. It is currently the rainy season in Malawi so the perfect time to plant crops. Please give what you can.
