Help keep 570 girls in School!

We are raising funds for 570 high school girls in the Cape Flats in the Western Cape. These girls are in a position of not being able to afford, or gain access to sanitary wear. This causes much distress amongst students and inevitably results in a choice not to come to school during menstruation. Many girls have dropped out of school due to this issue. It has become clear that this is not only just one more consequence of poverty, but rather a failure of government who does not recognize the need to subsidize sanitary wear. In light of this, and together with Elle International and some very special people, we are raising funds in order to get a supply of sustainable sanitary wear (that will last each girl for 15 years) into the high school mentioned above. Help keep these girls in school and meet their sanitary needs for the next 15 years!
