Help Kaybee Photography buy equipment to revive his photo/video business

Hello friends,

My name is Kurt Ferry Budiarto from Jakarta, Indonesia. I am a freelance photographer and videographer from Kaybee Photography (@kaybeephotography on Instagram). In the last two years since the start of the pandemic, my main job that is not in photography has started to be affected and I have since been struggling financially because my work hours have been cut significantly. The last year has been significantly very hard to pay my bills and I am supporting both of my parents who are in their mid 70s.

My photographic equipment has become obsolete--I have a 11-yr old Canon 5D Mark 3 camera along with 3 lenses. My lenses are all amazing and they require no update as they are only optics, but my Canon 5D camera has pretty much run its course in terms of its life.

I also have a DJI drone which I bought in 2018 and works just fine except that its batteries are cracked due to design flaw of the first version of the drone battery (I believe the newer iteration of its batteries have been significantly fixed).

Right now because of the continuing hardship at my main job, I would like to focus more on my photography and videography business. I have been involving myself in collaboration with two real estate agents to create photos and videos for real estate and properties.

But I need your help.

For me to be able to do this job to the best of my ability, I need to update my equipment. I need to replace the drone batteries (since I consider it to be dangerous to fly a drone with cracked batteries) and if it is all possible I would also like to retire my Canon camera and get a newer camera system that is compact and light but also will create great photos and videos for real estate. I would like to get the Sony A6500 and a good wide angle lens.

Here is the breakdown of the bare minimum of equipment that I need:

- Sony a6500 camera body: US$1,435
- Sony Rokinon 12mm f2 lens: US$400
- DJI Mavic 2 Pro batteries x2: US$300 (US$150 each)
Total needed: US$2,135
