Help Kate’s dad get a kidney

I've been staring at this screen for a while now, and I'm still unsure of what to say. These matters are a hard pill to swallow and I fear diving right in may be too much, but I don't feel much for sharing a sentimental story.

I wanted to create a fundraiser for my dad. He is a proud man who doesn't like asking for someone's time, much less their money. But he needs dialysis and he NEEDS a new kidney.

Along with dialysis/kidney transplant comes more medication and more frequent doctors visits and blood work.

These procedures are expensive. Insurance companies can only cover so much. So I'm turning to you all.

I understand we all have budgets and goals, I'm not asking to break anyone's bank. Even something small, as often as you can, could help.

My dad has been a very influential teacher in my life, teaching me about gardening, photography, computers, and a bit of foundation construction. He is a very mild mannered man who just enjoys seeing his family happy. He is a wonderful soul who deserves more time on this planet.

The only thing we can do right now is offer support and love.
