Help Karolina Ger Her Masters Degree!

Hi there!

Thank you for clicking on my campaign.

My campaign is set up to help raise money to fund my Masters degree in the UK. Next year I will be enrolled in a Masters course in UCL, London in Forensics and Intelligence, which is not offered in Malta. However, the course alone costs 15.000 euros.

My mother is a single mother who has worked so hard to put a roof over my head, my father left the country when I was 5 years old and has never paid any child support bills and instead left my mother drowning in debts that he had left behind.

My mother worked to pay these off but, due to health issues and unfortunate circumstances in business she had to retire at the age of 56 and therefore has minimum pension - she is now 67 years. On top of that my 93 year old grandmother is fully dependent on my mother for care as she is now wheelchair bound due to a benign tumour in her lumbar (lower spine).

I support myself with 2 part time jobs and I also have an internship as a case worker for Victims of sexual assault and domestic abuse but it isnt anywhere near enough to cover my fees. My mother wishes she could help but its impossible for her.

Even though I will have to take out a loan, it will not cover my tuition fees, rent and cost of living (until I find a job there). Therefore, I have come to ask for help, even the bare minimum would help me in some way!

I want to make my mother and grandmother proud of me and I know it breaks their heart that they cant help me in anyway. Unfortunately, waiting a few years to earn the money in time is not possible due to tuition costs possibly changing to international costs (which is 30,000 euros) once the UK leaves Europe and this includes paying for a visa to study.
