Help Kanelos, a Greek stray cat!

Kanelos is an unbelievably loving stray cat from Kavala. He was living in our neighborhood and he is very loved by everyone because he was very close to people and wanted your attention more that the food you offered him.

Unfortunately, beginning of September Kanelos returned in our neighborhood (after being lost for some days) severely injured, asking for our help. His lower jaw was completely broken and he could not eat or drink at all. We could not turn away and let him die in pain, we were feeding him everyday with a syringe until we managed to catch him, and transfer him to the veterinary clinic of the university of Thessaloniki. He was diagnosed with multiple fractures in the jaw and till today he has done two surgeries.

The cost till now is already near 800 euro and each day that he stays at the clinic is 20 more euro. When he is discharged we will have to pay the full amount to the clinic. This is a big cost for us, but still we could not bare to let him die. That is why we kindly ask for everyone's help! Even the smallest donation is important to us. Thank you in advance!
