Help Kamil go to NASA for the ISSDC

Hi everyone,

I'm Kamil and I am one of twelve individuals selected to represent the EU in the 2017 International Space Settlement Design Competition.

After making my way through the UK regional competitions and the UK National Final of the UK Space design competition, I have been chosen as one of the of the aspiring engineers, physicists and mathematicians of the next generation to go through to the International finals at the Kennedy Space Centre.

Here, students aged 16-19 from across the world meet to go head to head in designing and pitching a space settlement to NASA officials.
We bring our minds together to create a hypothetical settlement able to cope in the harsh environments of space, from the arid craters of the moon, to the scorching surface of Mercury, catering for automation, human, operational and structural specifications.

This competition is one of our first steps in contributing to the world of science and furthering development in fields we are passionate about, all whilst developing our own skills and talents.

We need your help to get there:

Falling right at the end of July, the competition is being held during the peak of the summer holidays and so flights and hotels are going to be expensive.

By donating today, you will help us raise the funds that will pay for our flights to Orlando, Florida, the transfer to the Kennedy Space Centre and for accommodation during our trip.
