Help jumpstart my career

I'm trying to start a career as a supporting counselor. In these trying times there is an ever increasing demand for counselors for those people affected by the current pandemic. Suicide is at an all time high as is unemployment, deaths and crimes. I feel it is of utmost importance that those in need of counseling have access to the services normally offered by psychologists, but at a fraction of the cost.

This is where the counseling therapist comes in. Besides the above, it will allow me to offer my services for free to those who really can't afford to pay but have an equal need for these services.

I have been accepted into ASCHP based on the RPL being met. The course is for 6 months after which I can start working as a supporting counselor. In summary a supporting counselor is sent to various immediate need people like families affected by death, kidnappings, rape, domestic violence to mention but a few.

This is not only my dream but an opportunity to really make a difference in the lives of many.
