Campaign Story
Jovie Alonde, 30 years old, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alonde who are currently unemployed and eldest among 9 siblings. Jovie worked for 3 and half years in hotel industry abroad to provide financial support to her family and send her siblings to school.
A woman full of dreams and the breadwinner of the family, she was diagnosed with meningitis when she went to Davao for a few weeks for a vacation and went back to UAE for work, she had on and off fever and was admitted to the hospital for a month. The company shoulder all her hospital expenses since the health insurance cannot shoulder the bills. After a month in the hospital she decided to come back here in the Philippines without any savings.
She went back to the Philippines hoping that after a month vacation she could go back to work again. But things did not turned out according to her plan. After a couple of weeks, she was found unconscious and suffered stroke with right brain damage and left side paralysis.
As she was recuperating from stroke, she started attending a rehabilitation therapy. a couple of therapy sessions after, we rushed her to the hospital as she was complaining of a severe headache and vomitting in the early of 22 July 2018. Her Intracranial Pressure attacked. She was confined at the time and now in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital. According to her MRI, there were infection and pus on her brain.
I'm Jane Mandacruz, her friend asking for your help so we can give her the medicine and treatment that she needs.
