- Hello everyone,
My name is Johnson Okezie, a
Nigerian. I am so passionate about science and education. My interest really is
Physics and Cosmology. I want to be an Astrophysicist, but I’m coming from an
under developed country where nothing is in place, no good government policies,
our schools have no teaching standards at all and our economy is collapsing at
a faster rate.
Please I lack the financial resources to make
my dreams come true. I am from a very poor family. My dad was diagnosed with
Diabetics 27 years ago and my mom had Strokes 5 months ago all these put
together have shattered my dreams because I was forced to abandon my dream of
going to the university to search for job in other to feed the family. I have
completed my secondary school education known as SSCE. Here in Nigeria it’s
very difficult to make a living that’s why in all my years of working to feed
the family I was not able to save at all and now I have been fired from my job
because companies are downsizing as a result of bad economy. No help from
anywhere, our sub-standard universities are very expensive and no scholarship
programs to help the poor.
Recently I decided to check online
for tuition free universities in Europe and I came across the University of
Oslo Norway. I have made all the necessary enquires and the required amount I need
to have is $12500 to cover up for my first one year, I don’t have a penny on me
that’s why I am here. Please I would be forever grateful if can get assistance in
other to actualize my dream of being an Astrophysicist.
