HELP JOCELYN FIGHT HER DISEASES AND GET BACK TO NORMAL LIFE!

Our friend and batchmate from the Philippines, Jocelyn Lugatiman Amarante, 35 years old, a beautiful wife and mother of 3, was living a healthy life until in 2012, she was diagnosed with rheumatic heart disease. After 6 years of battling and treatments, she got diagnosed with another disease called liver cirrhosis.

Rheumatic heart disease is a condition in which the heart valves have been permanently damaged by rheumatic fever.

Cirrhosis is a late-stage liver disease in which healthy liver tissue is replaced with scar tissue and the liver is permanently damaged.

Fighting for these diseases requires mental, emotional, and physical strength. Unfortunately, it also requires money which like Jocelyn and her family struggling to pay for her medical/prescription medication needs every day. Though it is hard for her to request financial support from friends and family, she has no choice but to do so, so she can be treated and feel better.

Her prescriptions are:

3. Spironolactone
4. Carvedilol
5. Warfarin
