Help JMR DECA

My name is Kyungmun Baek and I am the Vice President of DECA at Jay M. Robinson High School in Concord, NC. I have the opportunity to  compete at the ICDC International Competition in Anaheim, CA April 23-28, 2013. This year, I placed 4th in the Hotel and Loding Management  and 6th in Travel and Tourism Event at the NC DECA State Conference  (CDC), which gives me a chance to compete among other finalists at internationals (ICDC) in Anaheim, CA. I would like funding to help with the costs of the flight, hotel, registration, and food. Any monetary amount donated would be appreciated. Thanks!

What is DECA?

DECA is an organization that helps prepare emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe. This is such a great opportunity to show the school and the community the benefits of having a vibrant and competitive DECA club in our county.

• The DECA International Career Development Conference (ICDC) is the highlight of the DECA year. Fourteen thousand high school students, advisors, business persons and alumni gather for several days of DECA excitement. Most participants at ICDC compete in one of DECA's competitive events. The top competitors in each event are recognized for their outstanding achievements. In addition to the competitive events, many students and advisors participate in a variety of leadership and career advancing academies
