This is not easy for me to write, but I can’t find other ways to reach as many people as I can to let them know about my present medical and financial conditions.

I am Jionisio F. Taggueg, 29 years old, and has been diagnosed with Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia by bone marrow aspiration and cytogenetics since 2014. I am from Cabagan, Isabela, but currently residing with my uncle and brother in Gen. Trias, Cavite. My family is financially drained, so we do not have any stable resources to sustain continuous support for my expensive medication. I am currently advised to take the drug, Imanitib (6 Tablets a day) for my maintenance which costs P 1,347.50 per item, that will cost me P 485,100 in just two months. My medication should continue for an indefinite period of time, if not, my illness will relapse. Aside from the monthly laboratory exams I have to take, I also need your financial assistance for my RTQ-PCR of BCR-ABL determination.

I am scouting for any possible assistance from you or any other charitable institutions, governmental or not, to make my medication continuous.

All my family and friends would be extremely grateful if you would like to give us help in whatever way.

Thank you very much!
