Help Jedd get to World Kneeboard Titles to compete against the world’s best.

Jedd has been selected as part of the South African National team to compete at World Kneeboard Surfing Titles in Dunedin, New Zealand in February 2020. After placing 2nd at the recent South African Open Kneeboard Championships, he will be competing against the world's best.

World Kneeboard Titles

SA kneelos have absent from the world kneeboard circuit for the last 20 years and thus the sport lost significance in South Africa. Through the efforts of Kneeboard Surfing South Africa (KSSA), of which Jedd is a committee member, the sport has been steadily growing since 2018.

“This has been a dream and goal since I was introduced to kneeboarding by my dad, Eddie McNeilage, who also rides a kneeboard. For the past 20 years, there hasn’t been a competitive platform for me to test myself and so it’s always remained a hobby although being my biggest passion. Now that we’ve created more interest and revived the kneelo community, we’re having regular comps. It’s a total dream to for me to be able to compete at World Titles."

Kneeboard surfing is not a professional sport, so all Jedd's efforts to compete are primarily self funded other than the generosity of the small South African Kneeboard community.
