Help Jazelle christine for her open heart surgery!

Hi, I Am Jazelle Christine Galang ,i am just 1month and 15days old when i was rushed and admitted in the National Childrens Hospital as my mama and lola noticed that I am having a very heavy and difficult breathing and the color of my finger nails and lips was changing to bluish everytime i cried. And then I was diagnosed for Pneumonia and found out later after running some test that I have Congenital Heart Disease with D-TGA,ASD,VSD and PDA .It was the darkest moment of our life,as we thought it was just like a simple cough or flu but not as serios as congenital heart disease.And because my new born screening result was all beyond normal limit.We did'nt expect it coming.

After 4 days we were discharged immediately from National Childrens Hospital and was referred to the Heart Center of the Philippines to have my case evaluate.My case was confirmed after (ECG,XRAY,CBC, and 2D ECHO) was taken for the second time around.And my Doctor had my Case Presented to thier Head Pedia Cardio Surgeon and advice us that I requires immediate surgery.

WHAT IS TGA?

TGA(transposition of the great arteries), the aorta is in front of the pulmonary artery and is either primarily to the right (dextro) or to the left (levo) of the pulmonary artery.Her oxygen-poor blood from the body enters the right side of the heart. But, instead of going to the lungs, the blood is pumped directly back out to the rest of the body through the aorta. Oxygen-rich blood from the lungs entering the heart is pumped straight back to the lungs through the main pulmonary artery

W/ the 3 hole between the lower chambers of my heart such as VSD-(a ventricular septal defect) or the upper chambers of the heart

ASD-(an atrial septal defect) that allow blood to mix so that some oxygen-rich blood can be pumped to the rest of the body.

PDA-(patent ductus arteriosus )also allows some oxygen-rich blood to be pumped to the rest of the body.

Typically Baby with these case requires immediate surgery in the first week of thier life.And that babies with this condition can't live unless they get treatment.But due to lack of financial resources we cannot pursue the operation .Now I am turning 11 months. And we will be needing a very big amount of money for my surgery.Please be with me in my Battle .I know that its very hard for my mama to fight for me alone but she is so strong and she always tells me how much she loves me.And I am Strong and Brave and I will do my best to win this fight.For my Mama and for all who loves me.

It is indeed a very very tough battle for us. But we strongly believed that we can surpass all of this. I am Brave and I am a Warrior. God is always with Us.
