My dear Oncle , Mr Med Jawad El Alami is a Moroccan citizen wonderful powerfull man, a normal employer , did not have safety measures in place to save his life Also he is a person who loves life & love his family He Have 2 Kids ! He used to be athletic, playing Football, traveling, and best of all laughing !

Mr Med Jawad El Alami, 57 years old, former chronic tobacco weaned for 25 years diabetic for about 5 years under ADO, hypertensive and carrying a hypercholesterolemia under statins + losartan and kardegic.

Mr Alami has been followed since the end of 2014 for idiopathic lung fibrosis confirmed by pulmonary biopsy, indeed the scannographic aspect had concluded to a possible IPU and the pathological study of the pulmonary biopsy to a certain PIC the file was discussed also in meeting of consultation of the bichât hospital in 2015.

Mr Alami has been on pirfenidone since July 2015.

It was also treated in 02/2016 for tuberculous pleurisy confirmed on the data of the pleural biopsy, pleurisy occurred after taking by self-medication of low dose of corticosteroids (10 to 15 mg / d) and repeated way to calm the cough. The antibacillary treatment was price for 6 months with good tolerance, stopped the 07/2016.

Currently Mr Alami is still on pirfenidone with excellent tolerance, he is in chronic respiratory insufficiency under home oxygen therapy.

The only therapeutic option that remains is a lung transplant.

The last functional assessment dates from December 2016: it shows a severe restrictive ventilatory disorder with CPT at 1.56 or 22%, DLCO collapsed at 21%.

The lung transplant can take place as soon possible docters says that at max 1 year if he didnt do the lung transplant he will die and the donor is located and matched. They says their average for placement is about 6 months, but it could happen even faster than that, so we don’t have a lot of time to prepare.

Sadly, Morrocan insurance coverage they can't pay for the 500K dollar transplant operation. But we will still have many many out of pocket expenses. He must travel to germany “ Kerckhoff klinik “ In Frankfurt am main cITY, They anticipate a three to four month stay in we don’t have problem in travel expenses we can handle that with the help of friends & family the biggest problem is transplant operation expenses. That’s not typically the kind of money people just have lying around for a rainy day. Then additionally, the anti-rejection medications that he will need to take the rest of his life are hundreds of dollars per month for home oxygen therapy.

I have created this gogetfunding Campaign in hopes that as a community we can help and give a quality of life back to my Oncle and his Family through this life saving surgery.

Thank you

Best Regards
