I am Sonakshi Singh, my Father Jaswant Singh is suffering from End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD). Both his kidneys have failed and need dialysis 3 times a week (Monday/Wednesday/Saturday) and 4 hours a day for each dialysis run. Due to the dialysis his body is getting infected frequently and creating more complications which is very painful. He used to work earlier but for the last 5 years he’s unable to work because of his deteriorating health conditions.
According to the doctors, transplant is the only treatment which could give him more years to live as both his kidneys are damaged. Doctor recommended that a living donor transplant is the best option for him to live a healthy life. He’s medically strong enough to undergo the transplant procedure. My mother is ready to give one of her kidneys which may give him a life of 10 to 20 years. We have conducted all the required tests and she’s medically fit to donate one of her kidneys.
The Operation would cost us approx. 11 Lakhs (See cost estimation letter from Jaypee Hospital) which includes transplant and post-operative treatment. We have exhausted all our funds and if things proceed the way they are, we might have to stop his treatment altogether, which is breaking my heart.
I am embarrassed to say the least about reaching out to everyone. But then my father's life is way more precious to me than my embarrassment. If you could help me raise some funds, I would like to continue with my father's treatment and hopefully he will recover and would live a healthy life like a normal individual.
Any help would be appreciated.
We are grateful for your help
