Hello, everyone, I am Lam Wai Ming, Jasper from Hong Kong. I was diagnosed with colorectal cancer in the terminal stage and has spread to the liver in March 2020.

From the diagnosis to now, I have completed 4 chemotherapy and targeted therapy. After treatment, the tumor has shrunk and Two surgery have been performed in September and October last year.

After the surgery, the rest of the chemotherapy course has been completed Before I was diagnosed with the disease, I worked in the logistics department of a private organization. In my daily life except work, I took care of my elderly mother.

My illness has changed a lot in my life. Apart from the need for others to take care of, I cannot take care of family affairs. I am sick. Later, I couldn’t carry out heavy-loading work, and I couldn’t find a stable job because I kept going to the hospital for follow-up treatment, but I didn’t want to give up the treatment. I hope that one day I can cure the disease. In addition to my own life needs, I also want to take care of it. However, in the recent electronic scanning examination, new cancer cells were found near the disc cavity. The doctor also suggested the use of a new immunotherapy (CAR-T), because the treatment was not funded by the government and the medical expenses were very high. However, I no longer have any insurance plan. Cancer has also prevented me from finding a job. I also ran out of family savings last year for treatment.
