tl;dr I am living everyday with Bipolar 2 and panic disorder and finally doing better than I have in a long time. I am holding down a p/t job but have no health insurance (yet). I need help paying for my life-saving medication (I struggle with suicidal ideation as well as severe depression), therapy and past due bills from three hospitalizations (due to two suicide attempts and one severe panic attack while driving) so that I can continue on the right path and (hopefully with your help), save my own life!

Hi. First of all, let me take a moment to sincerely thank you for taking the time to consider my request and needs as well as learning a little bit about me and my situation.

I am living with Bipolar 2 and panic disorder. To help you understand a little better, here are some informational sources:

Basically, I suffer with prolonged episodes of severe depression marked by recurring suicidal ideation (which I have twice attempted) and also suffer regular panic attacks (one of which occurred while I was driving and lead to an accident: luckily, only I was harmed).

Due to a very troubled childhood (my father was abused as a child and is also bipolar; my mother was trafficked into prostitution as a teenager and eventually became a drug dealer and is now serving a lengthy sentence for her crimes) and lack of proper education about mental illness that causes many in my family to discount the validity and seriousness of it, I needlessly suffered with my mental illnesses without assistance for much of my life because I did not know nor believe that treatment and a stable life were possible (I both know and believe that now).

But I need help with my medical expenses because I am only able to work part-time right now until 1) I am further along in my treatment and more stable and 2) I have my own transportation again (the car was totaled in the accident and public transportation is poor in my area as are full-time job prospects).

I'd really like to eventually work full-time, finish college (I'll major in English Literature), become a high school teacher and professional writer. To do all that, though, I must remain in treatment and continue to take my medication as well as begin to repay some of these hospital bills.
