Help Israa Study Filmmaking in Germany

As an empowered thirty something woman and a Palestinian refugee by birth, I want to do this because I think studying film-making would help me tell the stories of all the trodden souls where I come from, through film-making and documentaries. I want to help the oppressed rise in the face their oppressors by making their stories visible, relatable and heard. I'm a story teller through the written word, I have often shared my stories with the hopes that I would reach out to some who is going through what I have been through, and with the hope that from my words someone would draw the energy and the power to fight and stand for their rights, I'm now a guest writer for a local blog in Amman Jordan, and here are the stories I have published so far.

So I'm trying to get professional training in this field, and I found an 8-months long certificate program in practical film-making in MET film school in Berlin which I really believe can give me the knowledge I need to become the storyteller I want to be and kick-start my journey to empower the oppressed. I'm fundraising because in order to apply for a visa I need to provide proof of sufficient funds for my stay and my tuition for this course, and since I have been living and working in Jordan, I'm not paid enough to make sufficient savings, so I need your support.

Below is a breakdown of the funds I need
18,500 USD Tuition Fees
7,800 USD Living Expenses and flights

I'm hoping to have saved around 9,000 USD by the time I leave, so I will need around 17,000 USD to be raised through other sources, and that's the goal I'm setting for this fundraiser. It might be too ambitious. But I'm still hoping you would help me achieve it.
