Help Islander doing homestay

In 2013, i had have a chance to work at an American NGO branch in Viet Nam names Aid For Kids, and they had a dental care project on Cham Island, 15 km from Hoi An, Da Nang. Tu and Vanessa directly worked on those projects. They really loved the children and the people on the island, especially in Bai Huong. Then, they decided to build a library and give scholarships for children in Bai Huong and make a website www.homestaybaihuong.com and training for 5 families to do homestay on Cham Island. In 2015, i started joining hands to help by relying emails and arrange the Westerner visitors who book homestay through the website to 5 families in a row. The families speak a little bit of English, and they communicate mostly by gestures. Fortunately, the homestay project works really well.

The reason to help
However, we want to step back to give their children a chance to help their families because they are all grow up and start going to colleges. Now, we are starting to do for each homestay a website and train their children how to use that to get customers. And, we also redirect the tourists to their website to book the homestay.
When it have to be done?
In Cham Island, there are only dry season and rainy season. So, the families can do the homestay from March to the end of September and go fishing from October to February. Then, all the websites have to be ready and to be on the top of Google search in the beginning of next year.
What we need?
We need to prepare the contents, pictures for the websites, hosting, domains, SEO and training to the families how to work with the websites. We need time, people join hands to help and of course we still need money to do it. The families have been doing homestay for more than 4 years and they have a lot of testimonials book which really need to type out and put on the website too.
Why we help them?
After almost 4 years of doing homestays, the families know really well how to work with foreigners. It is the time they have to be standing on their own feet; we just need to show their children how to work with website, google, and social media.
Nowadays, a lot of tour companies are trying to make moneys on the islands and take out all resources of the island without sharing with local people. It's so sad.
