I am Rowena Milarpes, 38 years of age and a social worker by profession. I am a person who is only wishful to help others and cares little about myself. But in 2014 I was diagnosed with Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia and I was been in & out in the hospital ever since. I never quit my job as a volunteer community worker in a Christian non-government organization because it is the only way I feel that I am not useless. I want to live a normal life despite suffering from chronic pain, if sometimes I feel better I go out and work for our daily living. I had to take 6 tablets of chemodrugs (immatinib mesylate) daily to treat the illness, and the doctor will order a regular once a month laboratory tests to monitor the progress. It cost me a lot and my resources is depleting, not enough to pay for the treatment. Me and my partner is trying to raise funds for myself In this regard, we are knocking at your door for financial support. Any amount you can give us will greatly contribute to my recovery. Thank you for those who will help. May the Lord bless you in your endeavors. God bless everyone!
