Help Hurricane Irma victims

My name is Tess and my heart broke when I heard the news. After Hurricane Irma ripped through the Carribean, many people have lost their homes and got injured. My partner (Oscar) his family still lives there, but they were among the lucky ones and left their homes in time. However, other people weren't so lucky.

Charities from all over the world are sending food, water and volunteers to help these people, which is amazing. But it also got Oscar and me thinking: what happens after that? Are they just going to rebuild everything like it was before? Because that would mean that when another hurricane passes through, these people have to experience all this misery all over again.

We need to help communities rebuilding homes and infrastructure in a way that's hurricane proof, so they never have to experience such a disaster again.

Therefore Oscar and I started recruiting volunteers, collecting materials and raising funds to help rebuild and improve infrastructure in the areas that were affected by Hurricane Irma.
