Huda and Abeer met in 2015 in the midst of difficult circumstances, while one of them was going through divorce procedures.
The traditional hetrosexual married life for a lesbian woman is very unjust and is not understood by the patriarchal society that forbids homosexuality.
Huda and Abeer tried to live in secrecy, away from the public eye, but this did not last long.
The dominance of the eastern patriarchal society, which derives its strength from the state’s systems, did not leave Huda and Abeer in peace.
The two lovers went through very difficult times of physical and mental violence and persecution, this left them unable to fight back so they decided to escape in circumstances full of fear and extreme terror.
They deserve a safe life for themselves and their children.

Huda and Abeer managed to escape to an Arab country, and that was not a good option, but it was the only available one at that time.
After their arrival in the country of asylum 9/2018, they applied for protection from the United Nations
But they were not able to coexist in a society that rejects their sexual identity. They were not able to enroll their children for education, and they were not able to mix with neighbors, or even go out to work and earn money to provide a decent living for them and their children.
They are now facing many dangers in the country of asylum, waiting for resettlement to a safe country that guarantees them and their children peace, safety and a decent life.
Huda, Abeer and their children are looking forward to a safe life and a future full of success and education for their children.

تمكنت هدى وعبير من الفرار إلى بلد عربي ، ولم يكن ذلك خيارًا جيدًا ، لكنه كان الخيار الوحيد المتاح في ذلك الوقت.
بعد وصولهم إلى بلد اللجوء 9/2018 ، تقدموا بطلب الحماية من الأمم المتحدة
لكنهم لم يتمكنوا من التعايش في مجتمع يرفض هويتهم الجنسية. لم يتمكنوا من تسجيل أطفالهم في التعليم ، ولم يتمكنوا من الاختلاط مع الجيران ، أو حتى الخروج للعمل وكسب المال لتوفير العيش الكريم لهم ولأطفالهم.
إنهم يواجهون الآن العديد من المخاطر في بلد اللجوء ، في انتظار إعادة التوطين في بلد آمن يضمن لهم ولأطفالهم السلام والأمن والحياة الكريمة.
