Hope’s Fight Against Breast Cancer

Peter Brighton is organizing this fundraiser on behalf of HOPE.

HOPE was diagnosed with breast cancer on July 11th, 2021 at the age of 24. Though this is such a difficult diagnosis to process, doctors and surgeons immediately began throwing out treatment options and scheduled her to have surgery only a few shorts weeks later, on august 9th. Those weeks were filled with doctor appointments, consults, testing, lab work, and countless more obligations that did not allow her and her family much time to think about anything else. Thankfully, the surgery went very well and she is doing great during her recovery- she is truly a rock star. However, now that they finally get a minute to breathe and sort through everything, they've realized that insurance is not covering as much as they had hoped. She will begin chemotherapy in less than a month, and although I know she will fight as hard as she has done since July 11th, I would like to give her and her family some peace of mind knowing that the financial part is not an issue and allow them to focus on what is most important - kicking cancers butt!!
