Campaign Story
On December 5, 2014 Nate, owner of Fog City Pet, was headed to a fundraising event at The Rex Center when he was struck by a hit and run driver. He is badly injured but will recover. He has a broken nose and wrist a large laceration on his head that required 10+ sutures, multiple abrasions and an effusion of the knee. He has insurance but it's not great insurance so a lot of the expensive ER visit procedures will not be covered. There were witnesses to this heinous crime but the suspect has not been caught yet.
As a small business owner he doesn't employ any help at his shop and his injuries will temporarily prevent him from running the store store full time. This will be a difficult financial blow for him as Fog City pet is his only source of income.
Nate is a good person who does a lot for the animals and their humans in the community. Please help ease the financial burden this terrible crime has unexpectedly created for him by donating whatever you are able to. Thank you so much!
