Hello and welcome to or GoFundMe page for our third-year short film High Society. If you contribute to this will help us get the necessary funds to be able to film the project. The funds will be used to help with the production design of the film. It will also help with getting the cast a crew through the scheduled 5-day shoot we are planning on doing. The funds will also help with many more things that we will be showing you in the future. We will need these funds by the end of March in order for us to be able to have all the equipment needed for our shoot in April. If you do decide to donate to our film we would be so grateful and it would help us further our education in film.

Story

Film Logline:
After Leah overdoses on cocaine provided by want-to-be gangster Gary, her star-crossed buzzer, Ruby, must now deal with the aftermath choosing revenge to handle with her grief.

Synopsis:
We open seeing our main character Leah inside the car with Gary who is crushing pills. We begin to hear her narrate sounding discombobulated and trapped inside her subconscious. Slowly through her poetic narrations, she realises she overdosed at Adam’s party. Later we see her girlfriend, Ruby, holding flowers on her way to see Leah. Leah reflects on the time spent with her, while Ruby makes her way to Adam’s house to inform him of Leah’s terminal state, that she has not woken up yet, meaning she could die at any moment. While there, Ruby learns who gave Leah the laced drugs and decides to get revenge. She fills a bag with toxic powder from a fire extinguisher. Ruby meets with Gary to buy a bag off him. Now is Ruby’s chance to exact revenge on Gary. Ruby asks Gary how to use the substance quickly changing the bag out with her own unbeknownst to him. Before he snorts, he demands she does first. Both snort the concoction, feeling faded. Ruby receives a phone call. Its Leah; Awake and sorry.
