Hero, a 2.5 month old pup was found with injuries after being hit and dragged by a car on a local farm adjacent to the kennels we use. He was left to fend for himself and would have died from shock and infection.
He has 3 breaks that need surgery as soon as possible and we would like to give him the chance to go on and have a happy life after such a raw start. He needs both hips and a leg fracture fixing, which the specialist vets can do in 1 operation and are giving us rescue rates to make this possible. (Bilateral FHO - femoral head neck osteotomy and fixation of the tibial fracture are the clinical terms).
