Help Helen Fight the Big C!

We are starting a fundraising campaign for our mother, Helen Ventura, 59 years old. She is diagnosed with Partially Obstructing Gastric Antral Malignancy (Gastric or Stomach Cancer). She needs to undergo surgery to remove the cancerous part of her stomach and to avoid it from spreading to her other organs. Prior to surgery, she has to go through chemotherapy to shrink the mass. And then three more courses after the surgery.

Before cancer, our mother was a lively and energetic kind of person with so much positivity in her. She is our only parent for so long and her principle is to never give up, that there is always a solution to every problem somewhere. She has served our community and giving everything that she can. She serves the Lord in any possible way. She was the party of the crowd as she was always happy.

As her children, it is very devastating to see her like this. We know she wants to live longer, to see her grandchildren grow up. She does not lose hope and neither will we. She is a fighter and we are sure she will win over cancer. However, our funds are way too low from her previous hospitalizations.

Surgery is scheduled this November, 2018.
