The OBON SOCIETY is a nonprofit organization in Astoria, Oregon that

works to heal the wounds of World War ll by accepting battlefield

souvenirs from American veterans and their families, and returning these

heirlooms back to relatives in Japan. We are deeply dedicated to the

healing and reconciliation that occurs between families in the United

States and Japan and help to usher in dialogue and closure for

families. We rely solely on donations from individuals who support our

mission. Your generosity helps with research, postal and operational expenses.

Thank you very much!
