Hello friends, I have created this fundraising page to raise money for my education.

This is something that is so vivid in my mind, Something that inspires the things I do, something I share to remind someone out there that situations change and while it may be tough in your life today, one day it will get better.

My embarrassing moment was the receipt of a letter with few clear words of instructions - ' FROM THE PRINCIPAL, ALLOW HIM TO BE IN SCHOOL AND HAVE LUNCH.' These were words of my principal to the teacher on Duty when I was in high school. I had been sent home for school fees and I had stayed for over 3 weeks. As it was the custom at Lundha Mixed Secondary School in Kenya, students from humble (Poor) backgrounds like me would stay at home until they were called back for exams or CATs. Our parents were not able to raise the small fees that was required. The bright students were lucky because they would be called back earlier whenever there was an inter-school contest or congress that required the top brains of the school. I was lucky to be among those considered bright. One was even more lucky if your a favorite of any teacher since they would act as advocates pleading with the principal to allow you to be in school; I can never forget who adopted me as a son and fighting for my stay in school for the entire period they taught me.They are parents I can never forget; they fought for me and inspired me to believe in my abilities

I had been sent home for fees as it was the usual custom when the school was running out of finances for operation. Being a local school the Principal Mr. Barrack was so considerate and could only send students home when there is a grave need for money. Such a great Man he is, may God bless him always. It happened that there was supposed to be a mathematics contest the same week at Maseno school, considering the fact that I was among the best in class and our teachers were keen on shining I had to be called back. However, the school management had introduced a meal card to block students who had not paid fees from taking lunch. Well, we could not study and stay hungry, after all we were preparing for the mathematics contest and our Mathematics teacher was keen on ensuring that his cream de la cream is fully prepared. she spoke to the principal on our behalf and all she go was a note - ALLOW HIM/HER TO BE IN SCHOOL AND HAVE LUNCH.

While I am on my path to successful, I have come to realize that the statement, 'ALLOW HIM TO BE IN SCHOOL AND HAVE LUNCH' has changed my life in ways I can never even understand. Therefore, I beseech everyone reading this story today to help me go a step further in my education through fundraising $3000 towards my university education. Any amount will be truly appreciated.
