US$2.00raised of $10,000.00 goal goal
My name is Abel Lisnovsky, I'm From Argentina and nowadays I'm volunteering in Faulu Production, a Community Based Organization that works in Kakuma Refugee Camp, in the north of Kenya.
Faulu started four years ago and since then has grown a lot, being nowadays a CBO with 72 volunteers divided in six different programs: Environment; Education; Youth Development; Agriculture and Permaculture; Women Empowerment; and Filmmaking. All the people who work and help in Faulu are also refugees from Eastern Africa's countries.
The money and resources that they get are only from private donors from abroad. Nowadays, the help given has improved the lives of more than 2000 people in Kakuma and they are working for more.
The money raised in the Crowdfounding will be used for: giving loans to needed women for them to work independent; buy seeds and tools for agriculture; make a youth performing arts festival; buying a camera for Filmmaking (the one used in the video was rented); and more stuff that you can check online.
Thank you very much and we trust that you can help us.
