Snezana is left alone with 64 dogs and 18 cats. They need help.

▶️ Dobra Nada (Good Hope) is a cats and dogs shelter from Novi Sad, Serbia.

For over 20 years Laslo Boka and Snezana Zelenika have been helping stray cats and dogs

in the area.

▶️ Sadly, Laslo passed away in August 2020, leaving Snezana alone with over 80 animals.

▶️ There are currently 64 dogs and 18 cats at the shelter.

Daily cleaning and feeding is overwhelming in itself, let alone organising transport -

Snezana doesn't have a car and needs to cross 40 kms one way to reach the shelter.

She needs to use buses, which takes a significant amount of time every day.

If there is a need to take an animal to the vet, or transport food to the shelter,

Snezana has to reach out to a handful of friends and acquaintances for help.

▶️ The shelter doesn't have any regular sponsors.

▶️ What is needed is dog and cat food, funds for covering vet costs and for transport.

The situation is desperate :(

It takes 15 EUR a day to feed 64 dogs, and 9 EUR a day to feed 18 cats.
Every little bit counts and means a lot to us. Please help animals not to starve.

Dobra Nada je prihvatiliste za pse i macke spasene sa ulice. Nalazi se u okolini Novog Sada.
Prihvatiliste je najvećim delom vodio Laslo Boka, koji je neočekivano premio pre nekoliko nedelja, ostavivši za sobom 77 pasa i 28 macaka. Svakodnevna briga o psima i mačkama pala je na jedinog preostalog člana malog kolektiva, Snežanu, koja uz pomoć par volontera sada vodi brigu o svim životinjama.

Prihvatiliste nema stalne sponzore. Potrebni su nam hrana za pse i mačke, novac za veterinarske troškove i gorivo za transport volontera i životinja.

15 eura dnevno može da nahrani 77 pasa, a 9 eura dnevno može da nahrani 28 mačaka.
