Get aMy name is Glenworth Veira has had a very rough life. Since I was 1999, I was diagnosed with kidney disease and have had to be on dialysis since I was 11. I've been on the dialysis machine for about 20+ years now.
If you didn't know before, haemodialysis is a life saving treatment for persons like me, whose kidneys don't filter the blood of toxins. I have to be on dialysis for twice a week or I could die.
I don't go out very much, most times I'm either at home, or at the hospital. I've seen many people die over the years and have lost quite a few friends. I have to give God thanks for spared life and always pray for guidance on the road.
I've always wanted a transplant but have never been successful. Because of my condition, you can see how it has affected my appearance over many years. I use a walker to get around and sometimes my friends help with a few products to help me with my condition.
I still try to help myself though, I do some video editing on my phone and I'm trying a little bit of painting on canvas and my mother is helping me. I have to give thanks for the people that help me every now and then with supplies and other little things like getting food and treatment days. Every child would want to take care of their parents when they get older, and I know how much stress this is causing mummy, to keep me alive. I generally don't like to beg, but I'm asking for your support, because I don't know how I will manage otherwise.
Thank you in advance and may God bless you.
