Help, Give Hope To The Needy

My name is Andrew Ijeoma Becky, a diploma College graduate, currently working in a private business establishment. I came from Rural Eastern Part of Nigeria where development is yet to reach to the people, and the life of people in my community turn out to be “survival of the fittest”.

These left me with taught or questions of what “can I do to the people in my community to add value and bring meaning to their lives”? This made me came up with an idea of setting up a little organization which I named “Becky’s Charity Foundation” non governmental.

This foundation was set up for its objective and purpose of reaching and carrying out humanitarian services and welfare to the people in my community and society at large. This foundation is set out to reach people who fall into three (3) different categories which includes;

(1) Orphans- These Children lost their parents in their early age, thereby left alone to suffer and be subjected to wicked family where they are used as slaves,maltreated, abused and abandon them to their fate for the reason that no one can speak or care for them (NO MOTHER NO VOICE)…SO PAINFUL!

Also Children who were abandoned after given birth to by their teenage parent that got unwanted pregnancy and could not bear, take or endure the pains of raising children, which left them with no choice than to abandon their kid somewhere in the bush and ran away.

Therefore the work of this foundation towards these children is to bring them together and ensure their safety and care for them by sourcing for financial assistance in order to provide food, clothes and other necessary materials for their upkeep and their health.

(2) Less Privelleged Children: These children came from a very poor background though with their parents who could not afford to send them to higher school, even when these children turn out to be very intelligent but cannot afford to go school for self development because they cannot afford the tuition fees. For this reason they are left in brain drain thereby wallowing in the streets, hawking trying to make something out from life, which eventually lead them to fall victims of rape for females among them or become an object of ritual or violence in the community.

However this foundation’s campaign is to reach out to these children by rendering financial support to them and ensure that they come out useful to the society either by way of ensuring their education or to engage them in skill acquisition, this will enable them to develop themselves and take part in the progress of our future community and society at large and save them from being used as an agent of violence or other social vices.

(3) Victims of disasters. Different disasters have ocurred almost half of my community, which includes erosion& flood disasters due to poor road network as a result of government’s lack of attention, terrorist attacks and crises both religious and political. These have left majority of the people homeless and some out of fear ran away from their homes in order to save their lives from these menace.

This foundation is set to reach out to these victims and ensure that relief materials were distributed to them and as well provide temporal shelter for them pending when government takes action, because their promises have been failing year in year out.

We also extend this humanitarian services to the hospitalized individuals depending how much fund we were able to raise.

Therefore “am soliciting for financial assistance.. calling, crying out, beckoning on good people out there to please and please donate towards this campaign of humanitarian services, in order to come to the rescue and help of these ones and save them from the world, Give Them Hope, Future and Finally put smiles at their faces. You can go ahead and share this project, contact many people who will be willing to be part of this campaign. For these my people will forever be grateful.

No amount is too small, for I know that any penny given towards the foundation will go along way in this campaign of reaching the people in need especially children, the future hope of our generation.
