Z Theatre Company are raising funds to help get us to The Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2017 and we need your help!

28 first years from The University of Hull are taking 2 shows to the Edinburgh Fringe 2017. Whilst we are paying ourselves for part of our journey, we have been working endlessley to fundraise throughout the year. The money we raise on here will help cover the costs for: hiring our venue, (Venue 45!) our accommodation, our travel, insurance, and so much more! We've put on Cocktail Parties, Open Mics, Pub Quiz's and many more but now we need a last push before we head up! Please give anything you can, it would be an amazing help to us, whether it's £1, £5 or £100!

The 2 shows that we are taking are described below:

A Midsummer Nights Dream:
DO YOU LOVE THE SESH? DO YOU LOVE SHAKESPEARE? Ever wondered what might have been if The Bard was a 21st century raver?
On the fringes of the maddest party all summer, love and mischief entangles ravers…who have no idea what kind of magic has hit them. Swap your lutes for bassline, and your ruffs for bucket hats; this hilarious show will get anyone into the festival mood.
From 2017's City of Culture, Z Theatre Company invites you to escape the trials and tribulations of the everyday, and get down in the psychedelic rave, deep in our enchanted forest.

and...

100 Miles:
‘One Hundred Miles’ is a physical theatre piece structured around the experiences of young woman traveling through India, in a bid to discover a different culture and way of life. Taking influence from their rich and vibrant lifestyle, this piece hopes to capture this complex world through her eyes, which is so different from the one she is used to. With movement inspired by the pedestrian gestures of the population and the everyday experiences they face, both good and bad, and incorporating music that combines the styles of both the Western world and the Indian culture, this piece hopes to give the audience an insight into the sights and sounds of this colourful world as lived by this young traveler.
