Help Get Pumpkin Home

About 4 years ago we met the cutest, friendliest little street pooch in Nuea Khlong, Krabi, Thailand. He had bad mange and he was in a lot of pain, he had open wounds all over his body and he was crying in the middle of the road. We knew we had to do something to help this cute little boy.

And so, his recovery journey began... He didn’t have much fur and his skin was so wrinkly, our friends mentioned that his skin looked the same as a pumpkin… Eureka! That’s the perfect name for this cute little boy, Pumpkin. We fell in love with him. He went for numerous vet visits, he got vaccinated, sterilized, he’s had tablets and injections galore as well as countless numbers of medicated baths to help him overcome his mange.

Pumpkins annual vaccinations are up to date and he is now completely mange free. He still has some bald patches on his body, but the vet said that it’s due to the hair follicles being damaged with the severe mange he had.

Pumpkin has been through so much in the past 4 years. He has been hit by cars, bitten by a snake, poisoned, had kidney and bladder infection, dog influenza, ear mites, ringworm and had a Lipoma Lump removed on his leg. Pumpkin is a true fighter!

As our time here in Thailand is coming to an end, we’ll be taking Pumpkin with us to our new home where he will have a better environment and a cooler, less harsh climate. We will need to send Pumpkin over first. Our amazing friend Aimee, who is currently in Ireland, UK, has generously offered to take care of Pumpkin until we arrive in the UK at a later stage to reunite with him and begin our new adventure together with him in our new home.

In the meantime, we are preparing all the necessary tests and documents that we will need to send Pumpkin over from Thailand to Dublin, Ireland in Early 2021.

We do have some money saved up for Pumpkin, but the fees for sending him over to Dublin, Ireland from Thailand are quite high. We are asking for some help in getting Pumpkin to Ireland where we will reunite with him, we would really appreciate any bit of help we can get.
