Help get me to Britain- the other side of the world!

Hello!:)  I'm Nicola and I am travelling to Britain in September this year 2013!!!:)

I live in the North Island of New Zealand.  I am leaving on the 5th September this year and can't wait to finally get there!  I can't wait to explore many natural areas of Britain and get outdoors and volunteer!(as explained below:)

Although I have saved $1,500, I still need quite a bit more, especially as I am flying from the other side of the world!:)

Why I am raising money to travel to Britain:

While in Britain, I am going to be visiting several National Trust Properties in Scotland, Cornwall and parts of England, and will be spending time volunteering with them.  The National Trust is a great organisation in Britain that looks after many heritage and natural properties that are held in perpituity for the public, and are always open to the public.  I also want to spend time volunteering with the Royal Society for the protection of Birds, who help look after and prevent threatened birds and wildlife.                                       Through these experiences, I want to bring back new and different ways and ideas of helping animals and the environment, that could be applied back here in New Zealand.

Because Britain is so far away, I plan to soak up as many experiences as I can!

Costs:

I will be travelling in Britain for a period of 3 months.  The main costs of this trip abroad are flights, and travel costs within the country.  I plan to do as much camping as possible to keep accommodation costs down.  I will be truly appreciative for any and all donations that are given, in helping me to realise this long held dream!
