Campaign Story
1 USD = 31 THB / 0.71 GBP / 1.20 CAD / 1.29 AUD / 0.82 EUR
We are Sangkhlaburi Animal Sanctuary, a newly opened animal sanctuary and clinic in a rural town on the Thai-Myanmar border. Our clinic is donation-based and we offer free treatment to the people of this small town and its surrounding villages. The nearest vets is a 4 hour drive away, and many local people don't have the money, the means, or even the paperwork to be able to make this journey when their pet needs help. There is also a growing number of street animals with no one else to rely on. We have several emergencies arrive at our door each week, and luckily we are supported by many international vets that have worked with us here in Sangkhlaburi, in the past. We promise to always do as much as we can to help any animal, however, there is a lot of common medicine we don't have yet.
Please help us to help the beloved pets, and the pitied street animals that local people bring to us, with hope in their hearts.
With our years of experience, and the vital instruction from our round-the-clock vets and vet techs, the only thing holding us back is our empty cabinet. We have already helped over 20 animals, in less than 30 days, and cases have varied from mange, to deeply infected wounds, to motorbike crashes. We must be as prepared as possible, and below is a list of medicines we still need for optimal treatment. On top of this we already need to replace several staple medications such as anti-biotics and saline fluid. Any extra money donated will be spent on other vitals like syringes, wound cleaning basics, or vaccines for our 100%-FREE vaccine program.
We desperately need:
- Metacam
- Rymadil
- Previvox
- Prednisone
- Dexamethasone
- Adrenaline
- Atropine
- Noroclav
- Vincristine
We also need urinary test strips, urinary catheters for both dogs and cats, and endotracheal tubes.
Of course, there are plenty more medicines we should stock, but these are our most commonly needed and could make the difference between an animal recovering, or the loss of a life. Please help us give them a fighting chance.
Please donate as genorously as you are able to so we can continue helping save lives.
Thank you so much,
The Sangkhlaburi Animal Sanctuary team

🙏Very appreciative of your love and helping the animals. I do not live in Thailand but I care about the lives of the voiceless. They need our help. A huge thank you! Although I cannot be there in body, I am with you all in spirit. ❤️
